The Rotary Club of Frankston
Fundraising and Fellowship
The Rotary Club of Frankston was formed 75 years ago and over that time as provided continual support to the local community.
Its 50 plus members are volunteers from all walks of life and raise money from the club’s Annual Rotary Wranglers Charity Golf Day, Annual Frankston Art Show as well as Bunnings barbecues, social functions and other various fund raising activities.
Our Mission
The object of the Rotary Club of Frankston, as with Rotary clubs throughout the world, is to develop community service and friendships with like minded people; promote and recognise high ethical standards in business and all types of professions, and we hope to advance world understanding and peace through international contacts and fellowship.
What We Do
Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. Our 35,000+ clubs work together to:
Promote peace
Fight disease
Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
Save mothers and children
Support education
Grow local economies
How We Do It
Our club supports a range of local community, national and international projects and the generation of fund to support these projects involves all members whenever they are available.
Regular BBQs at Bunnings, the Annual Rotary Wranglers Charity Golf Day, Annual Frankston Art Show and other community opportunities are all used to generate income.
What We've Achieved
Contributing the the worldwide elimination of polio through the global End Polio Now Campaign.
A donation of $20,000 towards the purchase of a Pre-Natal Ultrasound Machine for Frankston Hospital.
Managing and organising both the Annual Rotary Wranglers Charity Golf Day and Frankston Art Show
Installation of a disabled toilet for the Frankston Community Gardens.
