Rotary Junior Community Awards
The Rotary Junior Community Awards program engages Grade 6 students in four main areas of endeavour, to be completed over the school year – Community Service, Social Experience, Physical Recreation and Skill Development. The students, with the aid of parents and teachers, design a non-competitive program they feel they can achieve and keep a diary of their progress.
The Rotary Club of Frankston proudly supports this Victorian instigated program, which has now been adopted internationally, with more than 30 participating schools in our district last year. The program is generally undertaken during Terms 2 and 3, with a presentation ceremony held later in the year, where the students are presented with a certificate of achievement.
This program is fully funded by Rotary.
